Even though The Philly Home Girls have grown to become a household name in Philadelphia's Real Estate Industry, the teams' co-founder, Jeanne Whipple, remains a small town girl. Originally from South Carolina, she appreciates etiquette and hospitality. Working as a real estate agent affords Jeanne the opportunity to treat clients, cooperating professionals and her business with a certain home grown savoir faire. After attending the University of the Arts and eventually receiving her fine arts degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Jeanne enjoyed short careers as an illustrator and then as a programmer for the Chicago International Film Festival. The price of real estate in Chicago eventually drove her back to Philadelphia in 2002 when she bought her first home in Fishtown, the same neighborhood where she currently resides. During those first couple of years back she transitioned a newly formed business of marketing for architects and real estate agents into full time real estate sales. Building an impressive resume of top rankings and awards in service and sales volume on local and state levels from Realogy, NRT, Coldwell Banker Preferred, USAA and Cendant Mobility, and achieving a position as Chair of the Ethics and Grievance Committee at the Greater Philadelphia Association of Realtors are important accomplishments. Still, Jeanne 's primary focus is on earning five star reviews from her clients and remaining a highly reviewed Philadelphia Real Estate agent on major real estate websites including Zillow, Trulia and Yelp.
